I love this, Katie. I've seen it in my life a number of times. I take it seriously and continue to look for these moments. I consider finding you to be one of those events, at a point when I was desperate, and had fallen out of favor with just about every one of my friends. It was the word "Solace" in the title of your newsletter that caught my attention and inspired me to write to you, never imagining you would actually respond. That response from you was my "wink from the universe." The rest is history as the saying goes.
PS - I highly recommend the Angel Card Reading. We did it over zoom and Katie picked the 3 cards for me. They were perfect for me selecting exactly what I needed to focus on to begin our journey together. I had never done anything like that before and I was a little skeptical because it seemed kind of "woo-woo" to me, but I trusted Katie and went with it. And during the course of the next few months, we also picked one more card, and that hit the nail on the head too. It was the "Power" card, and for sure I needed to "call back my power" big time. Try it, you'll like it.
The timing of this post is synchronistic since I just experienced synchronicity last night when a commenter shared the Theodore Roethke poem “The Waking,” which tied into the themes of fate, free will, and awakening in a question I was composing for a Dissident Dialogue when his comment arrived:
