I would add a piece that comes from ancient yogic wisdom: you don't have to consciously apprehend a lesson to have learned it. I found great relief in that thought, whether it's true or no... :-)
That makes sense. I believe we get a lot of help with our soul lessons when our hearts are pure. I witness people making great shifts as a result of one conversation and a burden they’ve long struggled with gets lifted with little effort.
