Katie, you have thrown out a life-line here with this article. It speaks to everyone no matter who they voted for, or even if they didn't vote. These difficult times have been painful and confusing for all of us and you've shown us the way to relieve that hurt and confusion by going deep within and listening for our souls message by practicing being present, aware, and open "without commentary". That's the hard part, without commentary. Fortunately though we do get the benefit of reading your reflections which are always very helpful.

I liked the question you suggested we ask ourselves," Can I know for certain that any of this information I’m reacting to so strongly is even true?" Excellent point, and how much does it really matter anyway?

I'm looking forward to doing this 11:11 practice over the next 30 days. Thank you for providing this opportunity and guidance.

You are very welcome, and thanks for taking the time to comment, Rocket! I'm glad this resonated with you. Present. Aware. Open. Intentionally cultivating that quality of being is a super power, especially when emotions run high. It can help you calm down to recognize you may be overreacting to something because of a filter. The good news is we install our own filters and can also uninstall them when we update our beliefs. Tomorrow's post explores beliefs!
