YES! I'm sorry. I cannot help myself. I just wrote an allegorical novel with the help of a tween (now teen) that presents each of the ideas in your above essay to them in a dramatic story. The bad guys are even called the "Experts." It's called The Rebel's Hike (and my other substack is The Rebel's Hike Continues) where tween and older can help craft the new narrative to their age group, older, and younger. I can use all the help I can get. The world needs as many people as possible to step up and take our own lives back. Great essay!

Another Home Run, Katie! If you keep writing like this, you will ignite the change and transformation needed single-handedly!! We should expect miracles.

"You can claim your destiny and become a sovereign being right now, if you choose." Your words there are like John Lennon's song, "War is over now, if you want it". The key is in the wanting and the choosing. So I'm with ya'!

You're on fire, Katie. Yes, a thousand times YES to everything you're saying. All of us -- and especially me -- need to hear your words. Thank you, wise and gorgeous woman!!

Mary took the words out of my mouth. All the way through this I was thinking you were on fire, sacred fire, my dear. As Mary knows, I've been assaulted by some of those negative voices lately and realized yesterday that I'd internalized them and it was paralyzing me. I thought that I had no right to question the existing narratives unless I had the answer all in place and footnoted. I was imagining those attacks before they began.

I'll be citing this and I had already stolen that first meme before I even read the rest. I can't express how grateful I am for you, Katie, but I'm going to keep trying ;-)

A thousand thank you's for sharing this, Tereza. It is so relatable. I hope those voices quiet down so you can continue to provoke and inspire with abandon!
